Conference Venue



We will continue the traditions of AVSP since the first editions, as the conference fees are all-inclusive (registration, accommodation, food, etc.).
The conference will be organized at Saint-Jorioz (one of the suburb of Annecy), in the Ternélia resort Le Pré du Lac .

Access:
From Interspeech 2013 venue, a free bus will transport AVSP2013 participants from the Interspeech venue directly to AVSP2013 venue, in Annecy.


by airplane
It is possible to come to Annecy from the International airport of Geneva (50 km from Annecy, and one can get there by train or autocar); or from the International airport of Lyon Saint-Exupéry (125 km from Annecy, and one can get there by train or autocar).

by train
It is possible to come to Annecy by train from Paris or any other town by TGV

by car
It is possible to come to Annecy from Marseille, Lyon or Chambery by highway A41, exit "Annecy Centre".
From Paris, Geneva or Italy by highway A41 Liane, exit "Annecy NORD".

Getting to AVSP venue (Ternelia resort, Le Pré du Lac) from Annecy:
By bus
From Annecy, you can get the bus from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy). The bus station is right next to the train station. The Lihsa bus (operated by Transdev Crolard) has a desk at the Annecy train station (the rightmost desk in the station). The one-way bus ticket is 1.50 euros. The name of the stop where to get off is "Chez Daviet / Dos d’Ane" (you can ask the bus driver to announce the stop). At that stop, you have to turn right in the small road (route des champs fleuris). Few meters laters, follow the sign "Le Pré du Lac - Ternelia", and you will get there.
You can get bus number 51 (Annecy-Albertville). (there is a bus aprox. each two hours from 6:20am to 7:15pm)

By Taxi
A taxi from Annecy to "Ternelia resort, Le Pré du Lac" should cost 20 to 30 euros (depending on the day and time). You can call a Taxi or make a reservation using the following numbers ((+33) (0)6 60 89 51 96 and (+33) (0) 6 09 37 14 57)

By car
From Annecy, take the "Route d'Albertville", after leaving Saint-Jorioz, turn right onto "Route des Champs Fleuris", after 200 m, turn right.

Social event:
We propose a wonderfull dinner cruise on the beautiful lake of Annecy. You will enjoy the lake and the majestic view of the surrounding mountains. Before the dinner, you will have the opportunity to have free tour in the old city of Annecy, right next to the lake.

Facilities and activities at the resort Ternelia

• Swimming pool (open from 9:00am to 8:00pm)
• It is possible to take a walk or hike, around the lake (at 500 meters from the resort) or toward the mountain Me Taillefer
• It is possible to rent a bike (3 euros an hour).
• Relaxation sauna and Hammam with free access

The check-in is starts at 17h00.

Additional request
Please note that if you have any particular request related to your stay, or you wish to extend your stay, or to add an accompanying person, for the cruise dinner for instance (there is an additional cost), you have to contact directly the Ternelia resort manager and see with her. You need to do this as soon as possible (no later than two weeks from the conference date).
